Aircon Servicing Cost in Singapore 2026: Honest Pricing Breakdown

Aircon shops in Singapore advertise "$16 per unit!" promos and then somehow your invoice comes out to $250. Here's what aircon services actually cost in 2026, broken down honestly so you can compare quotes apples to apples.

General Servicing — $60 to $160 per visit

Qair's general servicing pricing (per visit, all units serviced):

• 1 unit — $60
• 2 units — $80 ($20 per extra unit)
• 3 units — $100
• 4 units — $120
• 5 units — $140
• 6 units — $160

Includes filter wash, front cover wipe, fan coil + blower wipe, drain check, cooling test. ~25–35 min per unit.

Watch out for: Shops advertising "$25 per unit" usually do 10-minute filter swap, not actual servicing. The price difference reflects the time difference.

Chemical Wash — $80 to $150 per unit

Mid-tier deep clean without dismantling. Most shops: $80–$120 per unit. Premium: up to $150. Qair: $90–$120 depending on unit size and condition.

Chemical Overhaul — $120 to $200 per unit

Full dismantle, soak, deep clean, reinstall. Industry range: $120–$200 per unit by BTU.

Qair pricing:

• 9,000 / 12,000 BTU — $120 per unit
• 18,000 / 24,000 BTU — $140 per unit

Gas Top-Up — $60 to $200

Depends heavily on refrigerant type and amount:

• R32 (newer) — $60–$100 per unit
• R410A — $80–$120 per unit
• R22 (older systems) — $120–$200 per unit (rare supply)

Repair / Diagnostic — from $30

Honest aircon repair = diagnose first, quote second, fix only after you approve. Qair charges $30 minimum callout for residential diagnostics. Quote for actual repair is given after we identify the issue — you can decline. If we can't fix it, only the callout applies.

Installation — Quoted on-site

BTO / new install / replacement / system upgrade — done on per-job basis. Indicative ranges:

• System 2 Mitsubishi Starmex: ~$2,000–$2,800
• System 3 Mitsubishi Starmex: ~$2,800–$3,800
• System 4 Daikin iSmile: ~$3,800–$4,800
